1. Copy the tired thread
In ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, select the conversation text — or export it — and paste it into the handoff tool. We detect User/Assistant turns automatically.
2. Pick a mode + directive
Use General for everyday work, Code & debug to preserve errors and file paths, Cross-AI move when switching assistants, Concise for the shortest faithful brief. Optionally type what the new chat should do first.
3. Review, copy, resume
Check the confidence dots (grey = verify), remove anything private, then paste the prompt as message one of a fresh chat. For long projects, repeat every 50–75% of context — before answers degrade.
